Fashionphile is one business that is capitalizing on the expanding market with a rigorous screening process that involves a combination of well-trained staff and cutting-edge technology.

The front of the 30,000 square foot building is a showroom where customers can bring in their gently-loved bags to be evaluated on-site and browse the selection of curated pieces. Each bag is thoroughly authenticated based on precise colors, hardware, fonts, and logos by an employee with a minimum of 5,200 hours of training. Plus, a device is used to precisely identify Pantone shales and even x-rayed to reveal the interior hardware.

Once authentication has been determined, the price of the product is determined by its condition, the current inventory, and its usual shelf life.
