The worlds of fashion and tech have intersected with Photochromia, a capsule collection designed with photochromic ink.

New York-based wearable tech company The Crated teamed up with Print All Over Me, a custom apparel retailer, to create an 11-item capsule collection that responds to sunlight. The designs painted in photochromatic ink are visible (or concealed) depending on the level of UV exposure. Unlike other attempts in the fashion industry to use photochromic ink, the Photochromia collection is sleek, sophisticated and most of all, wearable.

This unique combination of fashion and tech has the power to disrupt the apparel industry in a big way. For those who are interested, the Photochromia collection is currently seeking funding via a Kickstarter campaign.
