The Falster 2 Improves on the Original With Updated Hardware

— August 31, 2018 — Tech
Known as the Falster 2, this new minimalist smartwatch is an updated sequel to the original Skagen Falster smartwatch. Revealed at IFA 2018, this new wearable incorporates health-tracking features used in Fossil's recent Wear OS smartwatches. These features include a heart-rate monitor with support for Google Fit. Aside from health-tracking offerings, the Falster 2 also includes GPS and Google Pay support with a built-in NFC chip.

In terms of aesthetic, the Falster 2 has a slim bezel and a 2mm smaller case, when compared to the Falster smartwatch. The face makes the 1.19-inch face seem larger and helps deliver a clean look. The side of the smartwatch offers two customizable pushers that speed up access to supported apps.
