The Fairphone Fairbuds XL headphones are a sustainable take on mobile audio solutions that put more control in the hands of the user, while also prioritizing an eco-friendly design. The headphones feature an over-the-ear construction that's achieved with 100% recycled aluminum, 80% recycled plastics and 100% recycled tin solder paste. The modular design of the headphones allow the internal workings to be completely accessible to swap out components for new ones, upgrade features and more.

The Fairphone Fairbuds XL headphones feature 13 individual components in all and encourage a more hands-on experience for the user. Available now in Europe for €249, the headphones have an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, and work with an accompanying smartphone app to help users customize their functionality.
