Faces of Gun Violence is an incredibly disturbing but poignant and eye-opening photo series, carefully captured and compiled by noted Brooklyn-based photographer Joe Quint, that documents the plight of people who have survived gun violence or have borne witness to horrific instances of gun violence.

The subjects of this particular photo series have seen everything from public shootings and domestic violence incidents to household accidents and even suicides. Each photo is accompanied by a caption that sheds light on the subject's experience.

Ultimately, the Faces of Gun Violence is Quint's way of drowning out the endless noise of news, headlines, sensationalism and opining and reveal the pure and untouched realities of daily life as experienced by the survivors of gun violence.
