Kinfolk & Barneys NY Created an Ethereal Fashion Editorial

A day in Miami is simulated through a sensual and gloomy ethereal fashion editorial by Kinfolk's Jey Perie and Barneys New York. Titled 'Magic City,' the city-inspired capsule is characterized by a hotel room-esque ambiance, dramatic face-covering sunglasses, oversized and sensual silhouettes, as well as an abundance of animal print motifs. The fashion capsule is said to pay homage to the souls Jey Perie met during multiple visits to Miami.

The ethereal fashion editorial makes good use of lighting and incorporates some black and white imagery. Highlighting "moments of calm and contemplation" and "periods of adrenaline and ecstasy," the photoshoot features an assortment of casual and eveningwear, which ultimately reveal the dress code and moral etiquette of the Magic City that is Miami.
