This eSports TV Channel Aims to Tap Into the Global Gaming Audience

The Electronic Sports League or ESL is bidding to launch the world's very first fully dedicated eSports TV channel, aptly dubbed eSportsTV.

The network will be harnessed in such a way that it will be able to broadcast a wide variety of ESL tournaments and competitions on the Viasat platforms as well as through television distributor and platforms around the world. The channel will also feature content created via partnerships with local broadcasters, allowing for viewers to enjoy content that is customized to their local eSports scene.

ESL is already believed to have an audience of 100 million digital viewers, something which is set to expand exponentially thanks to the introduction of this dedicated and comprehensive eSports TV channel.
