Photographer Eros Hoagland Goes into the Dark to Show True War

It is important that there are some photographers who are willing to go into rough places in order to capture real pictures, and Eros Hoagland isn't afraid to show these dark moments.

Hoagland has gone into many countries that have faced crisis, such as Haiti, Iraq and Colombia. Once there, he gets his camera and takes pictures of local people, scenery and the result of the disarray that has been happening in the country. His pictures are black and white, and this allows the emotion that he captures to really reach out of the photo and grab you. In some of his photos there are local people who are just trying to get by, as well as injured civilians. The work that Eros Hoagland does is a stark reminder about life in other countries, and to be thankful for what you have.
