KEEN works in collaboration with ELNEST CREATIVE ACTIVITY on a new pair of Hauser Slides. The clog silhouette draws inspiration from collage artwork that was popularized during the Japan Jōmon period. The Jōmon people lived over 13,000 years ago and have a rich history.
The hunter-gatherer indigenous group had a heritage that carried on to eras to come. Their tale can be seen throughout the clog's upper, showcased through visuals of stone tools, pottery, clat figures, and accessories that make up the recycled PET made upper. The footbed is made from LUFTCELL PU materials and offered in a colorway that features obsidian and jade together. This is informed as a reference to the special jewelry often worn by Jōmon people.
