Wearable Muscle Stimulators

The Elektrodress Helps Individuals Suffering From Nerve Disorders

With his 'Elektrodress' creation, inventor and doctor Fredrik Lundqvist is changing the way scientists and doctors look at neurology and rehabilitation when it comes to nerve disorders. The Elektrodress is a wearable garment designed with electrodes that can increase a body's movement and function through vibration therapy and electronic muscle stimulation (EMS).

The Elektrodress was created to help a person's body relax and to improve his or her sensory and motor function by triggering the person's reflex system and stimulating the muscles. As such, the tool is especially beneficial for individuals suffering from nerve disorders such as Multiple Scelerosis, Cerebral Palsy and Parkinson's.

After appearing on the Swedish reality show Dragon's Den, Lundqvist has so far gained 2 million SEK in funding to continue research and development of his Elektrodress.
