These very social share worthy ice cream concoctions use Hong Kong-style egg waffles. Eggloo New York (@myeggloo on Instagram) uses Hong Kong egg waffles to give ice cream cones a "modern twist."
Unlike more conventional Belgian waffle cones, which have square indentations, these Asian-influenced cones have bulbous round contusions. Located in the Chinatown neighborhood in New York City, Eggloo also features a wide variety of colorful toppings that are also garnering attention online. The ice cream sundaes include other Chinese treats such as Pocky sticks, fortune cookies and mochi, as well as combinations like cereal and fruit or cookies and cream.
