A group of scientists and researchers at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology over in Saudi Arabia have developed an extraordinarily efficient solar cell that makes use of innovative use of materials in order to improve performance.
Developed at the university's KAUST Solar Center, this impressively efficient solar cell doesn't only make use of silicone as the active ingredient but also utilizes pervoskite, a crystalline material that is found to offer high efficiency when used in conjunction with silicone.
