The eCub 2 is a striking electric motorcycle by Shanghai Customs that is set to be production-ready by the end of April 2018. The impressive ride is built on the much loved Honda Super Cub chassis and is powered by a 1000 watt electric motor. The eCub 2 features a removable Panasonic lithium-ion battery pack, which gives the motorcycle the ability to run for 25 miles at an average speed of 30-mph. The eCub 2 furthers its performance capabilities with the inclusion of a rear disc brake, a customizable seat, adjustable shocks, high-powered LED headlight, a smartphone mount and a LED taillight in the rear.
The eCub 2 is a perfect example of the innovation set by Shanghai Customs in the electric motorcycle market. The demand for these vehicles have increased immensely and Shanghai Customs are leading the charge in the creation of luxurious and better looking models.
