Mammut's eCommerce Box Delivers an "Emotional Unboxing Experience"

The act of opening an eCommerce box of goods ordered online excludes official, human brand representatives from the sales experience, but it is still vital for the customer experience to be a positive one. Mammut Sports Group worked with Keim Identity GmbH on the creation of an "emotional unboxing experience" for its eCommerce packaging. As it describes: "The event of unboxing should be as emotional as the shopping process itself."

The boxes the creative agency designed for the Swiss producer of mountaineering and trekking equipment boast the brand's logo on the front and when opened, the boxes reveal all-white interiors that are decorated with a panoramic depiction of the Alps and a small block of text that reads: "Absolute Alpine."
