Micronized Biodegradable Polymer Fillers

The ECOFIL from ECKAR is Made from Renewable Resources

Microplastics in cosmetics recently came into the spotlit for their negative effects on wildlife and humanity, and in response, ECKART developed the sustainable alternative, ECOFIL. Formulated with naturally fermented, non-GMO corn, the product can be used as both a filler and a matting agent. The offering is made from renewable resources and "can be used as a mattifier, to hide optical imperfections of the skin (Soft Focus Effect) or to fine tune subtle properties of formulations, like application behavior or skin feel."

The new natural filler is now being used in 'Autumn Avenue' collection that includes Highlighting Powder 'Falling Leaves' and the Matte Lip Tint 'Pumpkin Pie.' ECOFIL is used to reduce skin imperfections as well as small wrinkles.
