Old, broken skateboards destined for the landfill are now being repurposed into jewelry by a husband and wife eco artisan team. They collect unwanted skateboards, looking out for colorful multiple ones or those with great deck designs. The jewelry they make includes earrings, pendants, rings, cuff links, and bangles. Every piece is unique, right down to the last scuff mark and is finished with a nontoxic protective coating.

The Nova Scotia-based 2ReVert is committed to their environmentally friendly business. The 'revert' part of their business name refers to repurposing and recycling. 'Vert' is also French for green. Revert and vert are also skateboarding moves.
