Fast fashion is responsible for a large portion of environmental waste and in an effort to reduce its impact, the shoe brand Allbirds have designed an eco flip-flop with a sole made from a sugar cane base. These shoes have been dubbed the Sugar Zeffers and are as stylish as they are good for the environment.
The rest of the shoe was designed from sustainable materials, resulting in a low-impact footwear alternative that's perfect for the summer season. What's more is that these flip-flops feature removable straps, meaning the wearer can swap out different designs, increasing the longevity of the product as the wearer is less likely to get bored of the pair.
Allbirds are available in US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
