Celebratory Crematorium Buildings

The Conceptual 'ECO CREMATION' Center Celebrates the End of Life

The conceptual 'ECO CREMATION' crematorium has been designed by Dr. Margot Krasojević as a landscape-incorporated building that would offer a place to celebrate life and help make end of life procedures more eco-friendly.

The center would utilize bio fuel gas and solar energy in order to cremate the bodies of the decreased instead of using wood, which contributes to environmental degradation and pollution. Designed to be situated in Los Angeles, the building draws inspiration from boardwalks, piers and the coastline to convey an enhanced sense of peacefulness for those who visit.

The conceptual 'ECO CREMATION' crematorium would also help to transform the cremation process into more of a celebration by streaming projections of the deceased person's life. The remains could also be turned into fireworks, a concrete reef or even a tattoo for a different kind of memorial experience.
