Eastbay Performance Zone Offers a High-Tech Shopping Experience

Foot Locker has collaborated with Eastbay Performance Zone to create an interactive retail experience for customers at Champs Sports.

The in-store destination will span 150-square-feet at select Champs Sports locations, and will be geared towards elite athletes looking for the best that sports apparel has to offer. The Zone, as it will be referred to, includes a touch screen that stretches four feet tall. Customers can browse -- and purchase from -- Eastbay's extensive inventory on the screen. A product database can also be accessed by a computer in The Zone.

Champs Sports President Bryon Milburn recognizes the importance of in-store tech integration. He explains, "[...] This is a critical technological step in the evolution of retail."
