Cold-Weather Beverage Lineups

SONIC Has Launched Its 'Hotumn' Drinks for Early Fall Cravings

SONIC launched 'Hotumn,' with the drinks lineup embracing the annual early fall cravings despite lingering summer heat, offering four iced beverages, including Cherry Pie made with Coke and Blueberry Pie made with Dr Pepper. SONIC is pivoting from the industry's typical pumpkin spice latte formula, instead leaning into its dirty soda expertise to capture cozy autumn flavors.

Available at participating locations nationwide and through the SONIC App beginning August 24, the campaign partnered with content creator Caitlin Covington, whose iconic fall photos have become an internet symbol of autumn's arrival. The four-drink collection also includes Harvest Berry made with Sprite and a Cranberry Orchard Sweet Tea.

SONIC shows how diverting from a played-out fall flavor formula and instead exploring new flavors can bring consumers a fresh seasonal menu.
