Solar Scooters' 'E-Clipse 2' Has Free Charging via Solar Power

The Solar E-Clipse 2.0 electric motorbike from Solar Scooters is a performance-oriented, road-legal e-bike designed with a focus on both aesthetics and functionality. It features a full hand-woven carbon fiber frame and swing arm, which not only provides a lightweight structure but also adds to the vehicle’s durability and strength. The design incorporates fully adjustable suspension from Taiwan, ensuring a smooth ride across various terrains. The bike is equipped with a full-color LCD display that offers riders essential information for safe operation. Additionally, the E-Clipse 2.0 is designed to be road legal, complete with necessary components like side mirrors, a number plate holder, and a VIN number for easy registration and compliance with road regulations.

The E-Clipse 2.0 boasts a 10,000W peak motor powered by a 72V 45Ah LG battery, capable of achieving a top speed of over 60 mph and a range of 65-75 miles on a single charge. The battery system is designed for rapid recharging when plugged into its charging dock, allowing a full charge within 3-4 hours. Additionally, this dock can be hooked up to solar panels to recharge itself over time. The bike’s pricing starts at $8,410.00, and it is available for pre-order with expected delivery by the end of April 2024. The E-Clipse 2.0 comes with a variety of customization options, including color choices and wheel types, to cater to the preferences of different riders. It represents a significant step forward in electric bike technology, offering a blend of high performance, innovative design, and practical features for the modern rider.
