Boston-based streetwear boutique Bodega works in collaboration with G-SHOCK on a new iteration of the DW-5600 watch with the introduction of the DW-5600BDG23-1 timepiece. This is also dropping to celebrate its 40th anniversary which appeals to enthusiasts, users, collectors, and more.
The new DW-5600BDG23-1 retains the classic model's existing shock and water resistance. In terms of the design language, it fuses together Bodega's design aesthetic and vision together with G-SHOCK's utilitarian design to result in a functional timepiece. It has a smoke-grey clear resin and it can be worn as a regular watch on the wrist with the additional rubber straps. There is also another woven strap that is accented with blue and reed details for contrast.
