Classic RPG-Inspired TV Series

Entertainment One is Working on a Dungeons & Dragons TV Series

Entertainment One, otherwise known as eOne, has announced that it will be developing a Dungeons & Dragons TV series with the help of Derek Kolstad, the writer and creator behind the 'John Wick' franchise.

Although the famed RPG has been around since the mid 70s, it has seen a recent resurgence in popularity—in part due to its prominence in the Netflix series 'Stranger Things.' While the details surrounding the new series remain limited, Tech Radar shares that casting is currently underway, with actor Chris Pine expected to star in it.

The live action series is expected to approach the themes from iconic tabletop game with a more modern lens, and follows up the animated series from 1983.
