The 'DUNE' rug has been designed in collaboration between the Germany-based design studio BUDDE and the Cologne-based Nando Studio as a functional floor covering that will blur the lines between carpets and furniture. The furnishing is inspired by the desert landscape of rolling sand dunes and is finished in a variety of earthy tones that will call to mind the aesthetic of the sand. The carpet is parked with a chaise lounge section that is fully suitable for being sat in and evolves fluidly out of the flat rug section to further create an exotic aesthetic that encourages a person to sit close to the floor.
The 'DUNE' rug is crafted with tufted merino wool to give it an ultra-soft yet breathable profile.
