DuckDuckGo Official Debuted its Privacy Browser on Windows

DuckDuckGo announced that, nearly ten months after the release of its browser on Mac, it is officially releasing the DuckDuckGo Windows browser. This browser gained popularity on Mac for its extensive privacy features. The browser features its own search engine that doesn't collect data, doesn't follow your web traffic, and doesn't store any unnecessary information, such as cookies or a cache of data.

Now that the browser is available on Windows, the company will work on ensuring compatibility across the wide variety of Windows devices. The company noted that Windows development was a challenge due to the near-infinite variety of screen sizes, screen resolutions, processors, graphics cards, and virtually every other aspect of each computer. The browser is expected to compete with the likes of Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Edge, using privacy as its main selling point.
