Photographer Ismael Moumin reveals a collection of photographs that exposes the dual personalities of his subjects. The collage-like portraits show a single face of a person made up of two separate personalities. The images look as if someone had taken two magazine images of two different people and placed them side-by-side to create one face.
The dual personalities are reflective of the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde story. The images reveal two completely different looks of the same person to represent the idea that people cannot be defined by one single look or word. There are many personalities that people express and explore throughout their lives.
Moumin wanted these photographs to be raw, full of emotion and imperfect just as people are. In the creation of these images, Moumin was able to find a beautiful balance between two side of one person.
