The Driftwood Tales SS 2014 lookbook takes place on a secluded mountainside. This marks the inaugural collection for the Dutch golf wear brand, and the accompanying lookbook was put together by Martijn Andriessen, former creative director for O'Neill.
The collection is comprised of short-sleeved tees covered in graphic prints and contrasting colors, and three matching caps with removable magnetic ball markers. Though the clothing would probably make more sense being worn on the manicured, artificial green lawn of a golf course, by situating its ruggedly handsome, long-haired model on rocky terrain, Andriessen and Drift Wood Tales ensure that the clothes really stand out.
Overall, the strong debut collection combines a strong love of the game with striking cultural influences.
