The Driftform collection of Edges of Motion roots athletic innovation in trail running culture by combining high-performance design with sharp visual language. Mental Athletic and Salomon have built this release around duality: technical gear engineered for function and styling that bridges outdoor ruggedness with urban edge. Materials are selected for durability, breathability, and lightweight comfort while color and cut reference ultramarathon strategy and terrain.

Key pieces include the ULTRA GLIDE 3 running shoes, co-branded tanks, and pieces that nod toward ultrarunner improvisation. The collection launches in Milan on September 23 before rolling out online October 1. Black-and-white palettes, typographic accents, and strategic cuts are balanced against Salomon’s proven technologies for grip, support, and heat regulation. By pairing performance with aesthetic cues from both trail and street, the capsule reframes trail running not just as sport but as a statement of identity and motion.
