Photographer Lara Jo Regan has created a ridiculously adorable photo series titled ‘Dogs in Cars.’ The name is not misleading; the series is literally made up of photos of carefree canines enjoying the view out of the window of a moving vehicle. It’s hard not to be amused by these playful pooches relishing the wind in their fur with a tongue-lolling smile. It’s no secret that, next to a walk or a game of fetch, car rides are many dogs' favorite activity.
Regan wanted to capture dogs going gaga over the opportunity to go for a joy ride. She explains,”[…] as an owner of three dogs living in the Los Angeles car culture, the idea was just staring me in the face. Most dogs become downright delirious over a car ride, and I wanted to capture this amazing primal energy in photographs beyond what I’d seen before.”
