Bender doesn't look like the type of woman who would be intimidated by anything, let alone a stranger. In fact, strangers are more likely to be intimidated of her. Draped in a series of luxurious furs chosen by fashion editor James Valeri, Bender explores what appears to be architectural ruins.
Makeup artist Pep Gay embraced the beauty in excess, applying layer after layer of purple eyeshadow, black eyeliner, blush and dark, vampy lipstick. Hair stylist Mark Hampton followed suit, piling Bender's curls on top of her head in a precarious 'do. The editorial was lensed by photographer Max Farago.
