London's Dock Kitchen operates by way of an on the fly mantra. Chef Stevie Parle updates the menu on the daily in accordance with his travels, mixing in foreign spices and flavors. His inspiration may also be drawn from his UK home base. In whichever case however, the restaurant has consistently managed to maintain its quaint impromptu charm.
The Selby's review of Dock Kitchen falls in line with this impromptu spirit. There is a lack of staging as Parle is found stirring pots and mixing sauces. His houseboat is also a focus of Todd Selby's, offering an at-home perspective of the critically acclaimed cook.
