This DIY sorbet recipe puts an adult twist on a popular summer treat. Developed by the 'Bake at 350' blog, this recipe combines sweet champagne with fresh seasonal ingredients.
To make the DIY sorbet you will need agave syrup, lemon juice, fresh raspberries, vanilla extract and a bottle of champagne or Prosecco. Begin by whisking the agave syrup with hot water. In a blender, combine the raspberries, lemon juice and vanilla extract. You will need to strain this mixture afterwards in order to remove the raspberry seeds. Add the raspberry juice to the agave and pour in your champagne. To finish, place the mixture in an ice cream maker and freeze until firm.
While this sorbet takes a few hours to complete, it is the perfect recipe to whip up for any summer get together.
