C’mon, join the club.
As reported by CNN, “Attitudes toward sex and marriage have relaxed since Communist China began market reforms in the late 1970s, opening the doors to a huge increase in adultery and divorce.” In fact, the number of divorces in China rose by 21% from 2003 to 2004.
To top it off, now there’s a club for the broken hearted. The so-called “divorce club” provides counseling services and organizes social gatherings and divorce celebrations. Fittingly, the club was launched on Valentine’s Day.
This takes the Bitter Ball to a new level.
