Satirical Disney Skate Apparel

Castle Bolt's Lookbook Plays on Iconic Disney Designs

'Castle Bolts,' a Los Angeles-based skate label recently turned to Disney designs for its latest collection's inspiration.

Pieces from the collection show a series of graphic prints and embroidery that liken the brand to the international child-friendly company, however through satirical measures that take away much of its associated innocence. Examples of this include the iconic Disney Castle swapped for an image of a rattled sketch, along with part of the brand's name emblazoned underneath it.

In addition to this is a beanie that shows a similar Disney design, as well as a t-shirt that shows a shark jumping out of the water with its gaping mouth aimed at the Castle Bolts name. Consumers can get their hands on the apparel from a limited time only, as only a select number of the items from the collection will be produced for resale.
