Disc-Shaped Wall Lamps

Ross Gardam's 'Polar' Wall Lamps Create Ethereal Rings of Light

Australian designer Ross Gardam's disc-shaped wall lamps are the latest addition to his 'Polar' series.

The shades of these circular lamps can be rotated on a hinge to project ethereal discs of light. Inspired by the phases of the moon, these wall lamps are aesthetically reminiscent of the lunar cycle. These wall lamps are inspired by Gardam's table lamps of the same name. According to Gardham, the form of these lamps provide an even more compelling look when mounted on the wall and says, "it lends itself even better for a wall application. It's quite a subtle and simple product but changing the way the light is directed and shaded is quite unobtrusive when done from the wall."

These disc-shaped wall lamps are available in several finishes and provide a graphic accent to any room.
