Discover Crystal River Florida is launching a new augmented reality (AR) experience at Cincinnati Zoo. Crystal River, the Manatee Capital of the World, is launching this initiative to protect the species by educating consumers on the power of conservation efforts.
“This creative partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo is the perfect way to launch Discover Crystal River’s innovative new AR experience and highlight ongoing conservation efforts to maintain our healthy manatee habitats,” John Pricher, director of Discover Crystal River Florida, said in a press release.
The experience is completely open, allowing consumers to navigate the Manatee Springs exhibit and explore the 'Pre-Conservation' and 'Post-Conservation' buttons. All consumers who access the experience will be entered into a contest to win Discover Crystal River merchandise and a two-day trip to the area. Guests can also play at home by accessing the online website through a QR code.
