Prehistoric Wedding Bands

This Dinosaur Bone Band is Literally Out Of This World

For the gentlemen who would rather prefer not to have a standard looking silver wedding band wrapped around your ring finger, you can now purchase a dinosaur bone band for your wedding. The $450 to around $1,800 gold, meteorite and dinosaur leg bone wedding rings are made and sold by an Etsy curator under the name JewelrybyJohan. Each ring is unique and carefully handcrafted; according to JewelrybyJohan, the bone is taken from the Morrison Formation in Utah, dating back to at least 65 million years into the Jurassic era.

JewelrybyJohan is a perfect example of a business well run, as stated on the site, "The only way to create fine jewelry is when you love what you are doing, I love it." And unlike rings that are mass produced in factories, JewelrybyJohan hand makes each ring one at a time.
