AI-Powered Digital Energy Tools

Eaton and Autodesk Partner to Enhance Digital Tool Offerings

Eaton, a corporation specializing in power management solutions, has formed a strategic alliance with the software firm Autodesk to develop new digital tools aimed at the building and data center sectors. This collaboration integrates Eaton's energy management systems with Autodesk's Tandem platform to create a digital energy twin, a virtual model that simulates and analyzes the performance of a facility's electrical infrastructure. The digital tools-focused partnership also includes a new application for Autodesk Revit that automates the generation of building information modeling (BIM) files for electrical systems.

Justin Carron, director of buildings and campuses at Eaton, shared about the important partnership: "Eaton and Autodesk are introducing new dynamic capabilities for the building and data center industries that will fundamentally change how electrical systems are designed, built and operated."
