Garmin Debuted the All-New Dēzl Dualview Two-Camera System

— January 6, 2026 — Autos
Garmin has introduced the dēzl DualView, a two-camera system designed to improve driver visibility along the sides of commercial trucks. The system streams live video directly into the cab through a paired tablet, dēzl over-the-road navigator, or compatible RV navigator. When incidents are detected, the cameras can automatically capture and store high-definition footage for later review.

In addition to live monitoring, the system provides visual alerts to notify drivers of vehicles entering blind spots or merging nearby. Recorded video can be accessed and shared either via a subscription-enabled Wi-Fi connection or by transferring files to a microSD card. When integrated with the dēzl OTR navigator, drivers can also manage camera views using voice commands, minimizing distraction.

Built for durability in demanding environments, the cameras feature an IPX7 weather-resistance rating.

"In keeping with our focus of simplifying life for professional truck drivers, the dēzl DualView is a purpose-built solution that promotes increased driver awareness when behind the wheel," says Susan Lyman, Garmin's vice president of consumer sales and marketing. "Not only does it give drivers more confidence when changing lanes or backing up, but also having video proof of events can be invaluable for protecting their driving reputation."
