Elevated Gym Membership Services

Custom Fit Offers Unlimited DEXA Scans and VO2 Max Testing

Custom Fit — a San Francisco-based performance and longevity studio — has become the first gym in the United States to include unlimited DEXA scans and VO2 max testing in its core membership. This announcement comes alongside the brand’s opening of its fourth location in Downtown San Francisco.

Custom Fit boasts services encompassing genetic testing, bloodwork, gait analysis, fitness training, nutrition coaching, infrared sauna, and cold plunge therapy.  With unlimited DEXA scans, a member can see exactly how many pounds of lean mass they have gained, how much fat mass they have lost, and whether that gain or loss is happening in the arms, legs, or trunk.  Similarly, VO2 max testing, which measures the maximum amount of oxygen the body can use during exercise, is one of the strongest predictors of longevity and all-cause mortality.

By making both tests unlimited and included in the membership, Custom Fit removes the financial and logistical barriers that have kept these diagnostics out of reach for most people.
