The DeWalt Flexvolt system is a way for those who work with power tools on a regular basis to introduce a more adaptable, agile set of equipment into their tool shed. The battery platform automatically changes between two different voltages, meaning that handymen can seamlessly switch between tools when the job requires it.

With the DeWalt Flexvolt, no DeWalt power tool is out of reach. Though the battery has 60 volt power, opening up the more power-hungry tools on the DeWalt roster, it is also backwards compatible with the company's 20V MAX tools. Plus, this extra power means that 20V MAX tools will run up to four times as long. As if all that weren't enough, workers can combine two 60V MAX batteries to get access to 120 volts.
