Paper clips just got a heck of a lot cooler (if they ever were cool to begin with). Sungho Lee is a Korean Designer who sent DesignBoom.com images of his latest project, 'LED Clips.'
DesignBoom states that “normal LED's light parts consist of two legs, a plus and minus terminal pin for power supply.â€
Lee has changed this traditional LED form, changing the legs which can be lit up by clipping onto batteries.
Implications - Applying interesting and entertaining features to products that the average consumer uses on a regular basis is a great way for companies to separate themselves from competitors. Buyers will be drawn toward a product that serves an entertaining purpose as well as its original intended use.
