Black Artist-Designed Watches

Movado Announces Its Partnership with Derrick Adams

Multidisciplinary artist Derrick Adams is considered to be "one of the leading Black artists of the 21st century" and recognizing this, Movado Group, Inc. has commissioned him for the latest iteration of its Artist Series. This certainly puts the spotlight on Derrick Adams as Movado has built up its Artist Series over four decades, inviting collaboration from globally renowned artists like Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist, and Carmen Herrera.

Derrick Adams is embracing the Black experience in this latest collection of artist-designed watches. He employs vibrant colors and decidedly contemporary cubist shapes to captivate attention. The creative approach pairs well with Movado's iconic Museum Dial and the minimalist silhouette of Movado's time pieces allows for the artwork to stand out.
