Eastpak's newest denim backpacks come in two lines, one of which only has five of the bags for sale.
The first collection the brand is releasing is a handful of limited-edition vintage-inspired patchwork denim bags that feature different pieces of the material grouped together in haphazard ways. The second offers more subtle denim backpacks that come in two different shades -- a darker wash and a light wash. The brand created the 'Padded Pak'rs' in a collaboration with the Okayama, Japan-based Kuroki. The limited edition backpacks cost $1,120 while the ones designed by Kuroki are $145.
While luxury and denim are two terms that are not often associated with each other, Eastpak has proved that it is possible to make denim more luxurious and high-end.
