Automotive Night Stands

Delica is a Bedside Table Built from Mitsubishi Delica Taillight Elements

The Delica night stand reinterprets the rectangular taillight housing from the Mitsubishi Delica as a functional bedside table and light. The piece stands on an angular metal frame. It uses riveted joints and steel toggle switches that reference automotive construction. The lighting system offers four modes across amber, red, and white. An optional light diffuser softens the illumination for different settings.

The design was created by Mo & A, a studio based in Taipei and London. The studio adapts industrial and automotive components into domestic furniture. The bedside table continues that approach through recognizable vehicle details instead of abstract forms. The product starts at $267. It functions as both a light source and a bedside furnishing. The design joins the studio's existing collection, which also includes a taxi lamp and a bamboo floor lamp.
