The Delasalle Electric Car is Super Efficient

— August 17, 2010 — Autos
Students from the DeLaSalle School in Kansas city and the engineers from Bridgestone Americas' Technical Center have built a super efficient electric car which was successfully tested on Bridgestone's Texas Proving Grounds.

The students built the DeLaSalle electric car as a part of a class project where they developed the car's propulsion system, driveline, and even the aerodynamic body. The car is a plug-in electric car with a chassis of 2000 Lola Indy vehicle, making it ultra unique.
