Zenith and USM Debut the Defy Chronograph USM with 1960s Theme

— September 5, 2025 — Fashion
Zenith and USM Haller come together for the Defy Chronograph USM, a timepiece that celebrates the shared heritage of Swiss watchmaking and modular furniture design. The 37.3 mm stainless steel case recalls Zenith’s historic Defy line with its angular, fourteen-sided bezel, while the dials are finished in four signature USM colors: green, pure orange, golden yellow, and gentian blue. Distinctive square markers and layered subdials reinforce the retro geometry, and the chronograph seconds hand is tipped with a luminescent miniature USM ball joint as a playful nod to the furniture maker’s system.

The watch is powered by the El Primero 400 caliber, a high-frequency movement offering a 55-hour reserve and renowned precision. Each edition is limited to 60 pieces and packaged in a custom USM Haller chest, tying both legacies together. With bold colors, precise engineering, and thoughtful presentation, the Defy Chronograph USM captures the spirit of 1960s design in a collectible modern capsule.
