If you’ve ever worried that someone might steal your desk lamp (a warranted worry if you have sketchy cubicle mates!), then the Decode Concrete Lamp will have you sighing in relief.
The base and shade of the Decode Concrete Lamp, which is the design-child of Benjamin Hubert for Decode London, are made of concrete, and are joined by a wooden stand. While the actual weight of the lamp isn’t divulged, I’m assuming it’s pretty darn heavy.
If, by a random act of chance, someone were to steal the Decode Concrete Lamp from you, then they probably deserve it due to their a) awesome strength and b) their good eye for superior design—after all, the lamp is nominated for the 100% Design/Blueprint Best New Product award and The British Design Awards!
