Dungeons and Dragons publisher Wizards of the Coast recently released two D&D children's books to help tiny adventurers learn about the world around them. Titled 'The ABCs of D&D' and 'The 123s of D&D,' each of the books teach basic lessons to children through the world of the popular tabletop roleplaying game. The D&D children's books also help kids get into the roleplaying game and even include a kid-friendly bestiary introducing some of D&D's favorite creatures.
Written by Ivan Van Norman and illustrated by Caleb Cleveland, the D&D children's books were originally conceived for a video series produced by Van Norman. The stories and illustrations were also inspired by Cleveland's own adventures in the game and the experience of getting his daughters to join in. The duo is currently working on a follow-up to the two books titled 'The 123s of RPGs.'
