Harlem-based fashion designer and icon Dapper Dan works in collaboration with GAP on the new special-edition DAP GAP hoodies. There are new colorways to drop including the brighter options of Golden Yellow, Rose Pink, and Sky Blue, or simply Black for those who prefer a more muted option.
Each hoodie is made up of 77% cotton and soft 23% recycled polyester for a mindful construction. All of these are detailed with the DAP applique over the chest in place of where GAP is usually found. It's finished with banded cuffs and hem, a kanga pocket, and a drawcord hood. Dapper Dan tells HYPEBEAST, “What I wanted to do is de-stigmatize the hoodie [...] that’s why you see me with a hoodie on with an ascot. All of us in the culture wear hoodies. All of us in the culture are not the same.”
